This is what I wished Terraria was. I took a break from playing Starbound v1.0 Incl OST Free Download when it became clear that they had found what they wanted the game to be and were heading for it with great speed. I returned when it hit 1.0 and have been taken back by the amount of work and polish they have added since me and a few friends bought it to play locally together.

There is so much to see and do that I only could play with lightly because it was unfinished or missing. I love how quests are handled and how they have reworked the UI. Now it indicates hotbar items that have two mouse-based functions or only one. The inclusion of a main story that better explains the universe chucklefish has created is now my sole drive to work my way up the tiered materials, instead of planet hopping till I got bored and made a new character to start over.

One of the most appreciated aspects of the game though, is how well it handles multiplayer. Most games desync all the time because I live in a apartment complex with 12 suites, each with their own wireless router, on top of my tower being opposite of the breaker panel in the wall. This game refuses to cause rage-inducing problems and made playing with friends actually fun instead of frustrating (Looking at YOU Risk of Rain).
