i can't install 18 patch when i try it says steam must be running but when i launch SmartSteamLoader it says that game is running
Same as igor1234, when launching the patch it says "Steam must be running" and when I launch SmartSteamLoader and then launch the patch, it says the game is running. How do you make steam run without launching the game?
This worked for me:
>Run the patch while the SmartSteamLoader.exe is running
>close the game when you can choose the language of the patcher

Hi
i found a simple solution.
As said above you:
Start the Game via Smartsteamloader
Start the Patch till language window appears
Now use the task manager to avoid the security question and kill the game (just the game under SmartSteamloader) and Quickly hit the ok Button in the language button of the patch.
