XOXO Droplets (XOD) is a fun visual novel with unique personality. What a game! I haven’t even finished my first playthrough yet, but I had to come and leave a review! I have to say, without a doubt, every boyfriend is equally as terrible as the others. And I love them all for it.
No but seriously, the characters in this game are great! Perfectly hateable and perfectly loveable. XD I especially enjoyed getting to see them grow to tolerate and even slightly like each other! (Although, none of them would ever tell you that. )
It also has a very unique style of gameplay, leaving no room for a lull in the mood or a dull moment, something I usually find to be a problem in dating sims I’ve played!
Combine this with eye-catching, smooth design and visuals, a witty, well-written and clever script, and phenomenal voice actors and actresses, I can say with full certainty, this is one of the best dating sims I’ve ever played! My favourite characters were Jeremy, and Pran, their silent friendship was adorable. I really hope to see more from this studio in the future!
