It’s certainly original and there’s enough here to keep you entertained and trying again for a few hours. The opening sequence (the actual 60 seconds) feels a bit clunky though, and the game seems to be a bit of a jumble of game design ideas. And although the choices you make during the 60 seconds definitely affect what the game will be like after, after a number of playthroughs, it feels like you’re more a slave to the RNG than any choices you made yourself.

In the end, it’s about luck, remembering what choices worked on previous tries and wondering if that’s even a constant in the game. The fun is in the unexpected events, jokes and quirky events, but I can’t help but think that most of this game feels more like a free Flash game you’d expect to find online, to promote something like Fallout, than something you’d have to buy on Steam.

I can recommend 60 Seconds! Dolores! Full Game, but only if you’re willing to pay its price for only a few hours of diversion.
