Review Flowers – Le volume sur printemps – Full Version :

Flowers is probably my favorite VN. A very good yuri VN that requires the player to be observant and apply some detective skills. One of my favourite things is the score, especially the piano-driven tracks that play at certain times. It compliments the art style so well too.

The characters are also well written and (for the most part) likeable. The protagonist is quite timid, but she’s clever and empathetic. I never really found her behavior frustrating. The romance scenes take some work to get to, but they’re very nice.

If I had to give some complaints, there’s still a few typos and errors in the translation at the time I’m writing this. Also, some of the choices don’t make a whole lot of sense. For example, choosing option 1 at a certain point might improve the relationship potential for character A, despite there being no logical reason why it’s relevant at all.

Another thing people may not initially realise – this is actually just part 1 of a 4 game series. The game still follows it’s own dramatic arc, but the ending doesn’t come with total closure.

Monsters and Monocles is similar to most twin-stick shooters. One control stick controls movement while the other controls the aim of your weapon. In Monsters and Monocles you basically choose a world to play. The levels are then procedurally generated and you are given two stages with randomized objectives. After you have completed both stages you have to fight the boss of that world. Monsters and Monocles is a roguelike game where all money and weapons acquired are lost when you die but you do acquire relics that upgrade skills which remain after death.

Overall I had fun with Monsters and Monocles. The controls works pretty well even though the dodge move could use a little work. I like that the stages are randomly generated and I like the variety in some of the guns. I also really like the pixel art and the music. Basically Monsters and Monocles is where you would expect it to be at this point in the Early Access process.

The thing I believe the game needs most is just more variety. The game could use some more worlds, weapons, enemies and objectives. The game is fun but gets a little repetitive after a while.

If you like twin-stick shooters I think you will enjoy Monsters and Monocles Full Version.

Game Conception II Children of the Seven Stars Full Version is a turn-based JRPG with dating sim elements. I’ve played this game on vita, memory card broke so i gotta start all over again. I will do so on PC.

I give it a 7/10

There is a lot of repetition in this game when it comes to the rpg and dungeon aspects. The dungeons are non linear and you just have to find your way to the end. I was alright with this and found another way to get addicted. The best part about this game is making infinite babies with your many potential waifus. Best part is that they’re alright with it if it’s for the sake of saving the world. Big Plus for that! The classmating system is great as it improves and benefits you as you play through the game. The main point of this certain game is it’s dating simulation. The partners you can choose from have a variety of personality and theres no “best” one when it comes to dungeons. It really does depend on who you choose so go for it. You could even choose all of them, no big deal!

So I don’t recommend it for it’s rpg aspects, but for it’s dating simulation it’s a nice buy especially when it’s 20$ with the dlc, dual audio, and mini ost (CONGRATULATIONS OF YOUR NEW ARRIVAL).

If you enjoy puzzles that get solved via manipulating words that affect the environment, along with a pretty neat adventure, then this is up your ally.

I was anxious to play this. In this game your character is made of letters (you start as the letter “O” and soon join other letters to complete your character in a brief introduction of what you’re going to see in the game).

Some of the puzzles are simple and you’ll probably solve them right away, but there are several well-made puzzles to keep you entertained. I almost did rage quit one time at a gas puzzle but I realize the answer was right in front of me.

The monsters (or bosses) of each level are amazing and despite the game’s simple look, it’s definitely an engaging and fun game. It posses an okay variety of puzzles (with good challenge), the art on some levels is kind of minimalist but very beautiful and the soundtrack suits the game well. Since I’m Brazilian and English is not my first language (although extremely necessary in my work), I feel like this game is a very fun way to exercise my English.

Hexoscope Full Version

SKIDROW – PC game Hexoscope Free download released on 16 Aug 2016 by SKIDROW Repacks. Hexoscope Full Version is a tile puzzle game with the goal being to build a red-tiled path between two or more specific tiles. All tiles in between have different directional lines etched into them, allowing you to create one, continuous path. This a design trope going back all the way to Pipe Mania (and can be seen in games as current as Loop and klocki), but Hexoscope Full Verson throws in a couple of creative twists.

This puzzle game is one of the creative ones I’ve ever seen, it has a fun gameplay and very good soundtrack (which I already bought and downloaded to my phone). HOWEVER, there are some serious flaws that must be considered:

Perhaps it is just me, but my mouse just can’t move the ‘chaos pieces’ (the bubbles that must be moved to solve the levels). I’ve checked the settings for the mouse and game and still nothing. Luckily I have a touch screen on my laptop through I manage to play this but still, it’s my #1 problem with the game.
The random layout of each level is too random sometimes, and while I tried to solve the very first level for 5-10 mins the second one took me a minute or two.
This one is a minor problem but still is there – The is a pts. system in the game that I find nearly useful, there’s nothing you can do with the points you get from each level other but watching them climb up. So you solved a level in a minute faster that your previews attempt, you got 150+ points and then what? It doesn’t reward you or something like that, just adds to your total and that’s it.

As for 1 and 3, if I’m mistaken you could leave a comment correcting me, I’ll be thankful but if not, I would love to see these things get fixed/changed/solved. Other than that great game.
