About Game

Sierra Ops is a game that combines strategic mobile tower defense gameplay with shoot ’em up elements and beautiful hand-drawn anime visuals. You play as Captain Junius Fahrenheit, a soldier of the United Terran Vanguard onboard the state-of-the-art ship, the Sierra, as they and their crew are thrown into humanity’s first interplanetary war. Tasked to protect Earth and free its colonies from under the Ares Confederacy of Mars’ grasp, there’s no question that they must fight to protect everything they care for… but are things really as simple as it seems?

What is the current status of the game?

The game was originally a free-to-play episodic game, with episodes 1 and 2 released on Steam on January 16, 2020. However, due to visibility issues, Valve suggested switching to a paid app with both episodes 1 and 2 in it. This means Sierra Ops is now technically an Early Access title. The price of the game is currently $14.99 USD which includes episodes 1 and 2.

How many episodes are planned for the game?

Initially, the plan was to launch three games based on the current roadmap:

Game 1: “Sierra Ops – Space Strategy Visual Novel” (Episodes 1 & 2)
Game 2: “Sierra Ops – The Aftermath” (Episodes 3 & 4)
Game 3: “Sierra Ops – The Final Frontier” (Episodes 5 & 6)

However, after receiving feedback from the community and considering the development costs, the team decided to restructure the game into one single package with all six episodes included.

When will the next episode be released?

The team is currently working on episode 3, which is expected to be released in Q4 of 2023. The release date of episode 4 and beyond is still unknown, but the team aims to finish the game by Q4 of 2024 at the latest.
