Rewrite+ Full Version is a very long and complex visual novel that spans six routes, each focusing on one of the heroines and their respective themes. The routes are: Kotori (the default route), Chihaya (the comedy route), Lucia (the mystery route), Shizuru (the action route), Akane (the dark route), and Moon/Terra (the true route). Each route has multiple endings and branches that depend on Kotarou’s choices and actions. Rewrite+ also adds two new scenarios: Harvest Festa!, which is a fan disc that shows the aftermath of each route in a more lighthearted tone, and Rewrite IgnisMemoria, which is a side story that explores the past of some of the characters.

Rewrite+ is a visual novel that I highly recommend to anyone who enjoys stories that mix fantasy, sci-fi, romance, comedy, drama, and philosophy. The writing is superb, with witty dialogue, emotional scenes, and thought-provoking themes. The characters are well-developed and likable, each with their own personality, backstory, and growth. The art is beautiful, with detailed backgrounds and expressive sprites. The music is amazing, with catchy tunes and memorable melodies. The voice acting is excellent, with talented actors and actresses who bring the characters to life. The gameplay is engaging, with choices that matter and mini-games that add variety.
Rewrite+ is not without its flaws, however. The main criticism that I have is that the pacing can be uneven at times, especially in the common route and some of the later routes. Some scenes can drag on for too long or feel unnecessary, while some important scenes can feel rushed or glossed over. The tone can also shift abruptly from comedy to drama or vice versa, which can be jarring or confusing. The length can also be daunting for some players who don’t have much time or patience to read through hours of text.
Overall, Rewrite+ is a masterpiece of visual novel storytelling that deserves more attention and appreciation. It is a game that will make you laugh, cry, think, and feel. It is a game that will challenge your views on life and humanity. It is a game that will stay with you long after you finish it.
