Review: Stardew Valley v1.06 Full Version is a surprisingly large and complex game. It is not, despite what I heard before buying and playing it, actually a farming game. It’s a game about farming but that’s only the premise that brings the character into the Valley in the first place. Yes, it’s also the larger portion of the game’s functionality and you need to construct a suitably profitable farm in order to actually get anywhere but – for me – I don’t think that’s the end goal.
Stardew Valley v1.06 Full Version is about community.
From the very beginning of your life in Stardew Valley you will find yourself talking to members of the township. A large portion of the game relies upon securing the friendship of the people of the Valley and there are numerous incentives given to do exactly that. You don’t have to become best buds with everyone, of course, but the more friends you have the easier the game gets.
But let’s start with the farm.
Considering the size of the game there really aren’t many. It’s a good, well-constructed game.
I was both delighted and disappointed that Summer doesn’t bring with it the danger of drought.
I didn’t think there was enough racial diversity amongst the single people. There is only one person very obviously not pale of skin (Maru, biracial), though I suppose whether the others are all white or whether there are some people of Asian descent amongst them isn’t entirely clear.
I would like to see some UI changes, such as a mouseover tooltip for the farming devices that shows you at least what’s inside the machine (such as the egg placed into the mayonnaise machine, the gemstone currently growing in the crystallarium or the ore busily smelting in the furnace). This could be expanded with a timer counting down to when the machine’s job is done (perhaps a reward for hitting a certain level of Farming).
While in the mines you can go down a level by using stairs but you can’t go back up a level. Attempting to go up a level will only give you the options to leave the mines or to do nothing. This is aggravating if you’ve right-clicked on a set of downward stairs accidentally as there’s no confirmation dialog asking if you really meant to go down.

Hello, so I have already installed and played the 1.05 version for a while and was wondering if there was a way to send the progress from that version to this one, I’ve put many hours into the previous version and I wouldn’t want to start all over again.
If I already downloaded a different version from the site, will I need to download this as well to get the files for the patches? If so, what will I need to do after downloading them?
Am I doing something wrong? I’ve reinstalled twice and yet i still can’t open the game. Help?
